Most people don’t eat overripe tomatoes, tossing them in the trash when they’re past their prime. But one smart man decided to hold onto his veggie, thinking of a brilliant way to make the most of it.
He realized that he could make even more tomatoes by placing the overripe one in a pot of soil, allowing it to create new ones on its own. It may sound crazy, but literally all you need are a pot of soil and an overripe tomato.
The first step is slicing the tomato into four separate pieces, placing them spread apart into the soil. A week later, and you’ve got yourself beautiful little seedlings.
