#1 – Your Mattress
Believe it or not, your mattress collects all your sweat, dead skin cells, dust mites, bacteria, and more. Even though you may change your sheets weekly, most people don’t pay attention to their mattress, leaving grossness to accumulate over time.
#2 – Cleaning Your Mattress
The first thing to do is to strip your bed down to the mattress and vacuum it. Use a separate nozzle just for the mattress, that you don’t use on floors or other areas of the house. Methodically cover the entire mattress from top to bottom, all the way across.
#3 – Deodorizing And Cleansing
Next sprinkle some baking soda over the entire mattress using a sifter. Again, methodically cover the entire mattress, from top to bottom, all the way across. Once covered in baking soda, let sit for at least 30 minutes, then vacuum it all up.
