Here’s What Your 70’s Crushes Look Like Now

Ahh the seventies, we can’t help but look back at that decade with rose coloured glasses on. And why wouldn’t we, when we look back and see all of our celebrity crushes from that decade and remember how much we loved them? Let’s take a look back at those old 70’s crushes we know and love and see where they are today.

1. Olivia Newton John

I don’t think there was a teenage girl alive in the 70’s that didn’t want to be a Pink Lady. And Sandy’s transformation at the end of Grease inspired a generation of teenage crushes.

Sandra Dee is now 69 years old and looking as beautiful as ever. She’s returned to her musical career and is currently on tour.

2. Meryl Streep

Dubbed ‘the greatest actress of her generation’, Meryl Streep first came to our attention in Kramer Vs Kramer, and a generation fell in love.

Meryl Streep’s acting career is still going strong. She’s had so many iconic roles that it’s hard to pick a favourite, but I’m personally a big fan of her role as Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada.

3. Raquel Welch

In the 70’s everybody knew her name. Probably because her first starring role was in her TV special, Raquel.

Raquel Welch is now 77 and is still acting. She’s currently a member of the cast of How To Be A Latin Lover. If that doesn’t excite anyone who had a 70’s crush on Welch, nothing will!

4. Faye Dunaway

Dunaway was the star of classic movies, including Chinatown and The Towering Inferno.

After a six-year hiatus from acting, 76 year old Dunaway is returning to our screens in The Bye Bye Man.

5. Bernadette Peters

This Broadway baby first caught our attention when she starred alongside Mel Gibson in silent movie.

Now 69 years old, Bernadette Peters has a phenomenal musical theatre career under her belt, and is set to star in Hello Dolly on Broadway next year.

6. Susan Dey

Susan Dey started her career as a fashion model before moving to acting. She starred in The Partridge Family as Larie Partridge.

Susan Dey retired from acting in 2004. She’s often asked to attend Partridge Family reunions but refuses to attend due to a failed relationship with former co-star, David Cassidy.

7. Barbi Benton

A former partner of Hugh Hefner, Barbi Benton was a 70’s movie star and appeared in popular TV comedy Hee-Haw.

Now 67 years old, Barbi Benton has a net worth of a staggering $20 million! She retired from acting in the 80’s and had a short career as a singer.

8. Anjelica Huston

Anjelica Huston began her film career in 1969, making the 70’s her time to shine. Although she’ll always be remembered for her role as Morticia Addams in the 1990’s Addams Family movies.

Huston is now 66 years old and still acting, although some of her acting work is done behind the scenes as a voice actress.

9. Chris Evert

Evert was everyone’s favourite tennis player back in the 70’s. She won 157 singles championships and 32 doubles titles during her amazing career.

After retiring from tennis, Evert set up her own academy in Florida. She also launched a clothing line for tennis moms.

10. Jane Fonda

In 1972 Jane Fonda won her first Oscar for her role in Klute, and won the hearts of people all over the world.

Nowadays, Jane Fonda uses her voice for political activism, that is, when she’s not acting in comedy series Grace and Frankie.
